Alfred, the strongest mage in the world, has defeated the demon lord. —However, during the battle, he was hit by an arrow in the knee. Now, he can't fight any longer, so he decides to retire from adventuring, but he finds a request at the guild:
"We need guards for the village of Mulg. There are wolves and boars in the village, and we are in trouble."
In the countryside, where no one knows who he is, he enjoys a life of seclusion, adored by everyone in the village, including a cute elf.
