The Forged Tenth

The Forged Tenth

贋作の第十番 The Forged Tenth

‘The Forged Tenth’ is a classical music suspense manga featuring a charismatic, genius female conductor and a solitary restorer of old sheet music. Shinomiya, whose mother took her own life after the sheet music she had discovered as a child was deemed a forgery, was working on projects related to sheet music at a private laboratory.

One day, she is commissioned to have the very score—the cause of her mother’s death—re-appraised. Determined to clear her mother’s name, Shinomiya accepts the job, only to find himself face to face with Leon Stutzman, a charismatic figure hailed as a genius female conductor...

This work was written by Kajimoto Reika, who has previously worked on Boys’ Love titles. Her new series, The Forged Tenth, blends music and mystery whilst incorporating elements of adult yuri. As the author herself has stated in her announcement, "it is a story centred on a lesbian character and a character who is still straight, making it a work I am very much looking forward to seeing how the yuri elements develop."
