Long, long ago, God, having triumphed over the Devil in battle left the land in the hands of humanity. The defeated Devil, in turn, unleashed demonic beasts upon the land, hell-bent on reclaiming what they call the ‘Devil's Land’.
In the imperial territory of Lutrand, known in legend as the ‘Devil's Land’, a colossal demonic beast called the Land Whale (Bakhmat) appeared out of nowhere. Humanity, already devastated by a catastrophe over a decade ago, has been fighting tooth and nail against the threat of demonic beasts ever since.
